Kristina’s documentary work focuses on disappearing physical spaces and the cultures tied to them, primarily in San Francisco. Her work has appeared on the BBC Radio 4’s Short Cuts, McSweeney's The Organist podcast, Audible, Dan Savage’s Hot Mic podcast, NPR stations WCAI and KALW, PRX's Public Radio Remix, WarInk.org, and the podcast Field Recordings.

“Intimacy” For the BBC Radio 4 show Short Cuts, I created a piece where the listener takes the place of an erotic voice actor, as I guide them into considering the sounds and reactions, and memories that emerge when a director leads them via metaphor and somatic instruction.

“It’s Very Indian to Watch AbFab” - short audio doc on Kumeyaay poet Tommy Pico, whose poetry builds a contemporary Native American persona, one that occupies multiple spaces simultaneously: Aired on KCRW’s/ McSweeney’s The Believer Podcast and was awarded an ‘official select’ by On Air Fest’s panel of judges.
